Penfield Over Fairport in Double OT

- Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: UPDATED Penfield scored the last four goals in their 9-8 double overtime win against visiting Fairport tonight. With Fairport up 7-2 with 2:30 left in the third quarter, Penfield scored seven of the last eight goals. Patriots A/M Jake Fox scored with 3:16 left in the game with and assist from Jackson Saulpaugh to tie the game at 8-8. In the second overtime period, junior attackman Alec Constable scored with an assist from Saulpaugh to give the Patriots the win. Pittsford at ThomasJunior middie Sean Smith led the scoring for Penfield with 2g-2a. Faceoff specialist John Richiusa won 16/23 (70%) of his draws and Seamus Hand recorded 14s/8ga (64%) in the cage for Penfield. Sophomore A/M Jackson Monte had 4g and four others had one each for the Red Raiders who will play McQuaid on Monday. Next up for Penfield is Hilton. [BOX SCORE] .

Webster Thomas took a 6-1 halftime lead and finished with an 8-4 victory over visiting Pittsford tonight. The Titans led throughout the game as Nathan Hoban led in scoring with 3g-1a. Pittsford at ThomasOne extra goal in the third quarter gave visiting Brighton the 8-7 victory over Honeoye Falls-Lima tonight. Brighton was up 3-1 after the first quarter and then the Cougars had 3-1 on their own resulting in a 4-4 tie at the the halftime break. Brighton outscored HF-L 2-1 in the third and the teams each scored two in the final stanza. Olin Stanat had 1g-3a, Sam Tourangeau scored 3g and Liam McGuire added 2g-1a for the Bruins. Tourangeau also won 12/18 draws. Matt Blythe scored 1g-2a and three others added two points each for HF-L (5-3). The Bruins dedicated the win to sophomore midfielder Dan Johnson, who was injured in the Schreoder game and will be out for the rest of the season. [BOX SCORE]

Hilton won a 13-9 win at Schroeder tonight after scoring five fourth quarter goals. Joey DiMaria had 3g-2a, Cole Loewke had 4g-1a and Matthew Mojsej had 3g-1a for the Cadets. Brady Ruffalo and Nick Hauman each scored 3g-1a for Schroeder. [BOX SCORE]

The Greece Storm took control early in the game, scoring nine unanswered goals in the first quarter and wontheir game with East United-Eastridge 12-5. Nicholas Leonardi had 3g as did Logan Yates while Jonathan Morris added 2g-1a. Riley Maier won 10/16 (62%) of his faceoffs for Greece. Freshman goalie Jonathan Bucciarelli recorded 7s/1ga (88%) in his 22 mins in the Storm cage. Greece at EastridgeOliver Grisdale and Keenan Edwards each had 1g-1a for the Eagles. . Batavia scored the first seven goals, only interrupted by one goal by Waterloo, but then is was all Waterloo who scored the last eight goals in the game for a 9-6 win, the first win in their season. Peter Shangraw led in scoring with 4g-2a and Scott Verdehem had 3g-1a for Waterloo. Tyler Burns scored 2g-1a and Max Scott had 1g-2a for the Blue Devils. [BOX SCORE]

Rush-Henrietta started with a 7-2 halftime lead and won 16-5 when they traveled to Churchville-Chili this afternoon. Chase Petschke scored 6g-2a and Killian Ceci added 6g while goaltender Isaac Craft made 9 saves/5ga (64%) for the Royal Comets (3-3). [BOX SCORE]
