Pittsford over OP, JD Over Victor, Gates Over East

May 13, 2019 - Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: Pittsford defeated Orchard Park and JD defeated Victor, while Gates Chili had a big win against East United today.(Score only from Pittsford at post time.)

Victor played a close game with one of the other top teams in the state at Jamesville-DeWitt but lost 12-9 after the Red Rams (15-1) scored the last two goals in the last two minutes of the game. There were four ties in the game and neither team had more that three goal lead. Camden Hay led the Victor offense with four goals and Liam Haller made sixteen saves (56%). Connor Durkin led the JD offense with 2g-3a. Victor will end their regular season at Corning on Thursday.

Gates Chili (2-13) defeated East United (4-11) this afternoon after scoring the first five goals in the game. Kyle Krystan led the Spartans with 7g-1a while Kyle Fingar added 3g-2a. Anthony Nguyen won eleven of fourteen faceoffs and Samuel Servati made nine saves (69%) for Gates Chili who will finish their regular season with Eastridge on Thursday. There was no report from East United at post time.
