Schroeder Comes Back For Overtime Win

- Tuesday: DAY IN REVIEW: Webster Schroeder fought back from a four-goal deficit to defeat Churchville-Chili 9-8 in the first overtime period. The Warriors scored the final five goals for the win and held the Saints scoreless for 13 minutes. STORY CONTINUES

Victor scored the opening goal in their 8-4 win against Canandaigua and led for the entire contest. The Braves fought back to within a single goal late in the second quarter (3-2), before Victor scored three unanswered to end the second and start the third. Joey Pezzimenti led in scoring for the Blue Devils with 4g-1a.

Penfield at GreeceAquinas came back in the second half and scored the final five goals of the game to defeat Livonia-Avon 6-4. The Lakers played a strong first half and led 4-1 going into halftime but did not score in the final 28 minutes. Justin Skelly finished with 2g for Livonia-Avon.

Copying their score from their game last year, the McQuaid Jesuit Knights posted a 5-4 victory over Penn Yan. Senior midfielder Ryan McEvily scored the deciding goal with 40 seconds to go in the third quarter. The fourth quarter was scoreless as both defenses and goalies were outstanding. McQuaid's Sophomore goaltender Connor Winters made 11 saves including nine in the second half. Junior midfielder Alex Klimowski and junior attackman Nick Opett both scored 2 goals.  McQuaid Jesuit moves to 9-2 on the season. The Mustangs were led by Conner Fingar with 2g-1a. Jeff Kinyoun recorded 8s (62%) for the Mustangs (8-3). 

Despite Shawn Doran's 14/16 face off performance for Hilton, Pittsford's defense was too strong and the Panther offense scored the first six goals on their way to an 8-3 win at home. Sonny Imburgia led the Pittsford book with 4g-1a and goaltender, Brecken Catalano made seven saves (70%).

Penfield at GreeceSpencerport defeated Eastridge tonight. The Rangers defense was led by Anthony Inclima, who broke the single-season takes record for Spencerport. The previous record of 30 takes was held by Chris Cottom in both the 2014 and 2016 seasons. With six games left in the regular season, Inclima now sits at 31 takes. Leading the offense was Todd Smith with 1g-4a.

Wayne scored the first eight goals and led the entire game, to defeat Mynderse 13-11. Owen Lorenzetti scored 6g-1a to lead the Blue Devils offense. There was no report from Wayne tonight.

Also winning today were Pal-Mac, Geneva, Brighton, Irondequoit, Midlakes, Thomas, Penfield, Fairport and Gananda.
