Victor Takes Pittsford By One

- Thursday: DAY IN REVIEW: Updated. After the game, one of the officials working it said it best when he said, "This looked like a Sectional Championship game." In a game that went back and forth and right down to the last minute, Victor was a 7-6 winner over visiting Pittsford (story here).

Hilton was a one goal winner at Brighton as they beat the Barons 10-9. Junior attackman Lukas Stanat scored 3g-3a to lead the Brighton offense. There was no report from Hilton on Thursday night. Shawn Doran broke the all-time team face off wins record with 459. The Greece Storm scored five unanswered goals spanning the second and third quarters in their 8-5 win over Churchville-Chili. The Storm held the Saints scoreless for over 23 minutes in the contest. (Story here)

After a hard-fought first half, Aquinas pulled ahead in the opening of the third quarter to defeat Livonia-Avon 12-11. The Little Irish scored four unanswered goals to pull ahead from 4-4 to 8-4 in a little less than 3 minutes. They held that lead for most of the third quarter, before Livonia-Avon fought back in the final five minutes of quarter with their own four goal stretch. Geneva lost in a close 11-10 game with Skaneateles. After taking a 4-2 lead after twelve minutes, the game was tied at 6-6 at the half. Leading the offense for Geneva were Aiden Eighmey (4g-1a) and Sam Miller (2g-3a). Goalie, Brandon Wayne had 11 saves (56%).

Other winners today were HF-L, McQuaid and Bloomfield-Honeoye.
