Fairport Takes Out Penfield

May 14, 2018 - Monday: DAY IN REVIEW: Fairport scored first and never trailed in a game they could be replayed in the next two weeks. This time the Red Raiders led 3-1 after the first quarter and ended up with an 8-3 win at home.

In other action Gananda took a 15-10 win against Medina (Section 6) with Pat Shanley scoring 4g-1a and Henry Bush added 4g-2a. Jason Good recorded 19 saves (66%) for the Blue Panthers (12-2). Eastridge moved their record to 6-8 with a 15-7 win against Marcus Whitman behind the scoring efforts of Justyn Hiscock (3g-3a) and Trevor Schmidt (5g). An even dozen players made the scoring book for Brighton, led by the McDermott bothers who each scored 4g-1a. Lukas Stanat posted 4g-3a for the Barons, now 7-7. Gunner MacMillan scored 1g-4a and Jacob Rogowski scored 4g-1a for the Royal Comets.
