Wednesday: Brighton Ends HFL Undefeated Season

- DAY IN REVIEW: Brighton bounced back from yesterday`s defeat at Fairport and ended the undefeated season of HF-L, the last team in the Section with a perfect record. Shots came from many angles as five Barons scored along with leaders Brady McDermott (4g-2a) and Brett Randall (4g-2a).

Brockport played a close game with Medina, until part about three minutes left in the half, when they scored three quick goals which made the difference. Eighth grade attackman Jeremy Hopsicker put all five of his shots in the goal and added three assists to lead the Blue Devils. It was an exciting game between Hilton and Churchville as the Saints owned the first half and the Cadets took the second half for the win. Michael Rudy (3g-2a) took top honors for Hilton with Tyler Dalle (3g-1a) and Jordan DePetres (4g) right behind. Face off middie Shawn Doran won 21 of 27 draws. For Churchville-Chili, Corey Yunker (3g-2a) and Jacob Buck led the offense.
