Victor Takes Home Win Against Brighton

- Victor secured an 11-5 victory over Brighton in an MC-D2 league game on home turf. The game saw three ties early on, but Victor`s nine-goal streak through the second and third quarters paved the way for their seventh consecutive win against Brighton, improving their record to 2-0. Senior midfielder Brody Secker led Victor with three goals, surpassing his milestone of fifty career goals. Colin Wheeler also recorded three goals, supported by standout performances from Kyle Saeger (two goals, one assist), Jackson Mead, Matthew Herendeen, and Will Johnson, each adding a goal. Sophomore Will Simpson contributed six saves with a 55% save rate over forty-eight minutes in goal.

Brighton (1-2) saw contributions from Ben Marangola with two goals, while Kiki Condon, Tim Tourangeau, and Gavin Parks each scored once. Austin Flaum added an assist. Senior Henry Werzinger excelled in faceoffs, winning eight of ten. However, despite the team`s persistent efforts, Brighton couldn't overcome Victor`s dominant stretch in the middle quarters. Goaltender Logan Serve made ten saves during forty-eight minutes of action.

Victor will next host Canandaigua on April 9, while Brighton prepares to face Westhill at home on April 15.     [ Story and BOX SCORE
