Agness Scores Six in Spencerport`s win

- Jonathan AgnessSpencerport scored nine of the first twelve goals on their way to a 14-10 win over Greece Athena/Odyssey.  Although the Thunder scored the first goal (Zack Gibaurd unassisted), Spencerport scored the next four.   Johnathan Agness scored the opening two on his way to six total goals.  Owen VanWie and Cameron Nitti scored the next two.

The Rangers pushed their lead to six (9-3) and then held off the advances of the Thunder.  In the final four minutes, Ath/Ody scored four of the last five goals to close the gap to four.  Midfielder Joe Wegman finished 14/25 at the draw with a team leading seven ground balls for the Thunder.  Cal Boily added another four ground balls to the count.  In the cage, Donald Yandow recorded four saves.  For the Rangers, Ryan Griffin recorded six saves between the pipes.  Defenseman Joe Curcio led his team with six ground balls.
