Reeves kept up the pressure in the second quarter with the first goal and assists on the second and third Pal-Mac goals. Gananda added three of their own to cut the lead to two. Entering halftime, Pal-Mac led 7-5. At the start of the third quarter, Pal-Mac added the first two goals with unassisted goals from Reeves and Brian Burger. Gananda came back strong in the second half of the third quarter with four unanswered goals to tie the game with 1:13 remaining in the third quarter.
