Reeves kept up the pressure in the second quarter with the first goal and assists on the second and third Pal-Mac goals. Gananda added three of their own to cut the lead to two. Entering halftime, Pal-Mac led 7-5. At the start of the third quarter, Pal-Mac added the first two goals with unassisted goals from Reeves and Brian Burger. Gananda came back strong in the second half of the third quarter with four unanswered goals to tie the game with 1:13 remaining in the third quarter. Joe Fisher scored three of the goals with Colin Brillian assisting on two of them. Kyle Lombardozzi scored the fourth goal. Three of the four goals in the run were scored during man-up play.
