Aquinas Wins with Balanced Offensive Effort

- Aquinas secured a win over Bishop Kearney with a strong offensive performance, earning a 17-6 victory. Junior attackman Tano Auriuso led Aquinas with five goals and one assist, reaching his 200th career goal milestone. Junior attackman Jake Guggino contributed four goals and two assists, while sophomore midfielder Steven Bell and freshman midfielder Connor Williams each recorded their first Varsity goals. Aquinas spread the scoring across eight different players, with Noah Olbrich adding one goal and three assists.

Defensively, Aquinas received solid play from goalies Jake Gibson and Logan Schimmel. Gibson recorded seven saves and allowed two goals for a 78% save percentage over 30 minutes, while Schimmel made six saves and allowed two goals for a 75% save percentage in 14 minutes. Senior midfielder Dom Siesto won 16 of 21 face-offs, securing possessions for Aquinas. Bishop Kearney found late scoring contributions from James Scantleburry, who posted three goals and one assist, and Dom D’Eletto, who netted two goals. Alex Jarvis added one goal in the fourth quarter.
