Pittsford Secures Third Win

- In a non-league matchup at Sutherland, Pittsford continued its strong start to the season, defeating Spencerport sixteen to ten.Spence at Pitts Pittsford spread its scoring across multiple players, including Grant Lewis with five goals and two assists, Max Morgenstern with four goals, and Brady Goetz with two goals and two assists. Adam Gerby, a freshman, scored his first Varsity goal, while Jack Healy contributed one goal and four assists. Goalie Bear Wehrheim recorded a solid performance with a 67% save rate, allowing only two goals in thirty minutes of play. Junior Peter Roussell was effective in faceoffs, winning ten out of eighteen attempts.

Spencerport showed resilience, with standout performances from Zachary Ajavananda, who led the team with four goals and two assists, and Zach Tortora, adding two goals. Gavin Brown and Chase D`Amico also contributed Spence at Pittsgoals, with D`Amico scoring his first Varsity goal. Goalie Jamison Brown faced heavy pressure, recording thirteen saves while allowing sixteen goals during the game. Senior Chase D`Amico battled hard in faceoffs, winning fourteen out of thirty attempts. Spencerport rallied late in the second half, scoring nine of its ten goals in the final two quarters.
