May 8, 2014 - NOTES: Aquinas and HF-L were neck and neck for three quarters before the Little Irish scored the final five goals to defeat the Cougars 13-8. The contest was tied 2-2, 4-4 and 8-8 before Aquinas scored five unanswered goals spanning the final 10:24 of the contest, including three goals in man-up play. The game had a total of 15 penalties (13 minutes). Defenseman Caleb Cooley led HFL with five ground balls and midfielder Terrance Richards led Aquinas with 14 ground balls.

The match, hosted by Fairport, saw strong performances from key players on both teams. Fairport`s Mitchell Monte led his team with four goals and two assists, while Andrew Crowley contributed three goals and Ryan Cain added one. Senior goalie Luke Ryan recorded seventeen saves on thirteen goals allowed, achieving a 57 percent save rate in forty-eight minutes of play.
Freshman goalie Carter Fries made three saves on two goals allowed, achieving a 60 percent save rate in his five minutes of play, while senior goalie Will Simpson had four saves across forty-three minutes. Victor started strong with a run of five goals and managed three goals in under two minutes during the first quarter.
