Hilton junior offensiveman (A/M) Tyler Dalle helped his team to win two big games last week. When the Cadets defeated HF-L (10-9) Tyler scored 3g-a2 and in their 14-6 win against Schroeder he added 4g-1a. It was the first win for Hilton against HF-L since 2009 and only the fourth time in team history.

Hilton Head Coach Dave Moore is a fan. "Tyler has been a fantastic addition to our team this year. He has great knowledge and understanding of the game. He has not only improved his game this year but has helped to bring out the best in those around him. During games and practices, he is constantly communicating with his teammates about what is happening on the field to help make adjustments in the game. He stepped up big in our games this week, especially on Saturday night when we needed a spark."

Sophomore goalie Tyler Olbrich from Victor has been an important part of the Victor season. There was a lot of pressure on the Blue Devil defense last week with important games against Pittsford and Cazenovia, both of which are highly ranked in State and National polls. In both games Chayse made dramatic saves and turned in save percentages of 67% (12s vs Pittsford) and 63% (10s vs Caz).

Head Coach Jim Andre has good things to say about his starting goalie: "Chayse continues to do an outstanding job for us in goal. His athleticism is shown through his quick reactions and anticipation of where the ball is being shot. When combined with his sound technique, Chayse consistently comes up with the big saves that inspires the entire defense."

From the many noteworthy performances by players each week, a small committee of SportsFive.NET staff members and some Section Five Lacrosse Committee members will create and review review nominations from coaches, players and fans and pick one offensive and one defensive player who have excelled in a game or games during the season.
