Penn Yan Falls in NYS Finals

-  SPORTSFIVE REPORT:  This was one of those games where the winners just were better. Cold Spring Harbor played excellent lacrosse on both send of the field. The Seahawks were aggressive on defense, often doubling the ball and recording numerous takes.

Senior goalie Gage Ponsetti played a good game in the goal, despite the score, making some on-on-one saves and, at one point, leaving the crease to intercept a long pass from transition. Sean Emerson ended his career with 2g-1a as did Tate Stewart.

For The Seahawks, this was their second Championship in a row and third in their history. In addition, they helped to continue the winning streak for Section VIII teams. There has been a Section VIII Champion every year for the last eight years.
