1st Soph Commit - Willie Klan to Ohio State

September 26, 2012 - The first verbal commitment of the year by a sophomore in Section Five was announced yesterday as Webster Schroeder goalie Willie Klan announced his decision to play at Ohio State after his expected graduation in 2015. He looked at Syracuse, Maryland and the University of North Carolina before making his decision.

Klan took most of the goal time last season for the Warriors and recorded 163 saves. Off season he was an Empire State Cup Western Team Alternate and as a member of the SweetLax team played in the Summer Slam, Tri-state, Yale Bulldog Classic and Lake Placid tournaments. He also attended the Top 205 lacrosse camp.
