Pittsford Junior Attackman, Stephen Quinzi to Georgetown

March 1, 2013 - Pittsford junior attackman Stephen Quinzi recently announced is verbal commitment to attend and play lacrosse are Georgetown University under coach Kevin Wayne.

Quinzi has been a Varsity level player since his freshman year and entered his junior year with a career record of 31g-16a. He has played for the Nike Rising Sophomore team and was a member of the Brine National Rochester team that won the Brogden Cup in 2012. A Brine National High School All-American, he currently plays for the SweetLax Lacrosse Club and played last year at Summer Slam, Yale's Bulldog Bash and the UpLax tournaments.

Before choosing the Hoyas, Quinzi considered Cornell, Bucknell, Yale and Boston University.

He will be expected to join former Panther teammate Corey Parke, who is currently a freshman midfielder at Georgetown.
