Penfield Middie Brian Wall Selects Bellarmine

- FultonBrian Wall announced today that he will study an play lacrosse at Bellarmine University next fall. The Penfield senior led the Patriots in scoring last year with thirty-one goals. He scored points in eighteen of twenty-one games last year while picking up forty-seven ground balls for the Section V Class A Champions. In the New York State Tournament, Wall scored in both the Western Regionals and the State Semifinals.

Off season he has played for the Blaze (Elite) Lacrosse Club and has played on the Patriot Hockey team for four years. Last summer he played on the Under Armour Upstate underclassmen Team.

The Knights finished last season at 7-7 under Head Coach Kevin Burns. The University, in Louisville, Kentucky, is an NCAA Division I School that has been playing in the ECAC, but will be moving to the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2014-15. Wall is expected to join Penfield alumnus Andrew Schoeneck, who joined the team this year as a freshman.

Before selecting Bellarmine, Wall considered LeMoyne and Siena.
