Preston Herbst Selects Saint Rose

January 12, 2014 - Canandaigua senior defensemen, Preston Herbst recently announced his selection of the College of Saint Rose (Albany) where he plans to study and play lacrosse after graduation this spring.

Last summer, Herbst played in the MVP, Best of the Best and NXT Tournaments and UMass and Rutgers Tournaments in the fall with the SweetLax Lacrosse Club. He played in the Hotbeds Tournament last summer and the Corn Field Tournament last fall with the Braves.

Herbst hopes to play with former Canandaigua attackman, Evan Helming who is a junior with the Golden Knights.

Herbst also considered attending Limestone.
