  There were sixteen games played today as the regular season is starting to wind down. Pittsford came from behind to beat host Corning 8-7 in the closest game of the day. Thomas took Irondequoit by two (12-10) and Gananda beat Mynderse 11-8. Other winners were Churchville-Chili (now 13-0), Livonia, HF-L, Midlakes, Pal-Mac, Lightning, Gates Chili, Geneva, Canandaigua, Aquinas, Fairport, Haverling and Penfield.

--  NOTES: In a game of halves, Pittsford defeated Corning 8-7. The Panthers scored the game winning goal in the final sixty seconds. The Hawks finish their season at 13-3 with two of their three losses to Section Five Teams. Corning came out of the gate ready to win and scored four of the first five to lead 4-1 with 5:27 left in the first half.

Dustin Farwell scored two of the goals in the opening run with Devon Sullivan and Aiden Olmstead scoring the other two. Pittsford`s Colby Barker scored the lone Panther goal with 10:00 left in the second quarter to get them on the board. Jack Kaufman brought the game within two with his goal with 1:00 remaining in the half (assist from Connor Fitzgerald). The Hawks led 4-2 at the half.

Pittsford scored the first three goals of the third quarter to take back the game. Jonathan Perotto, Jake Belias and Fitzgerald scored for the Panthers. Their first lead came at 3:11 left in the third quarter and they took the 5-4 lead into the last 12 minutes. Corning tied the game again 0:38 into the final quarter with an unassisted goal from Cale Donegan. Pittsford scored back to back goals to take control gain with scoring by Belias and Perotto. Corning never quit and scored two of their own in less than thirty seconds. Sullivan scored his second with 2:45 remaining and Olmstead scored his second with 2:21 remaining. As noted above, the game was won in the final minute with Perotto scoring his third with 0:59 left in regulation.

--  NOTES: Gananda scored the first goal, and although the score was tied once, the Blue Panthers never trailed in their 11-8 win over Mynderse. Gananda`s Dylan Joy scored the opening goal with 3:24 left in the opening quarter. With 0:01 remaining in the quarter, Joe Fisher scored with a feed from Owen Howard to give the Blue Panthers the 2-0 lead after 12 minutes. Fisher scored his second goal to start the second quarter and give Gananda a 3-0 lead. Mynderse responded with three goals of their own to tie the game with 7:22 remaining in the half. The scoring continued back and forth with Gananda taking a lead and Mynderse keeping pace. The Blue Devils came within two goals twice in the second half, but never tied the game again.

Fisher finished with 5 goals for Gananda and Joy finished with 2g-3a. In the cage, Ben Donnan finished with 10 recorded saves.

--  SPORTSFIVE REPORT: Thomas led for the majority of the game in their 12-10 win over Irondequoit. The Titans only trailed twice and only by a single goal both times. Although they led for most of the game, Irondequoit never trailed by more than three and was often within a single goal.

Trevor Carney and Dan Doktor were the big scorers for the Eagles with four goals each. Travis Ford and Trevor Ford also scored four goals each for the Titans. 16 of the 22 goals in the game were scored by four players. Carney scored the opening goal for the Eagles to take their first of two leads. Thomas retaliated with four goals of their own to take a three goals lead (their first of 3 three goals leads). Carney scored again for the Eagles and Nick Mabe scored his first of two for the Titans to end the first quarter. Thomas led 5-2 after 12 minutes.

In the second and third quarters, Irondequoit played closer and cut the Titan lead. The Eagles scored three and held the Titans to only one in the second quarter. Doktor, Carney and Jack Brennan scored for Irondequoit. Trevor Ford scored the lone Thomas goal. The score was 6-5 Thomas at the half. Thomas scored to open the third quarter before Irondequoit scored the next three to take the lead with 3:22 remaining in the third quarter. Mabe`s second goal tied the game at 8-8 to end the third quarter.

In the fourth, Thomas scored four of the first five goals in the quarter to take a 12-9 lead with 2:18 remaining. Brad Smith scored the final Titan goal with 2:18 remaining. Irondequoit scored the final goal of the game with 1:03 on the clock and an unassisted goal from Carney. In the cage for Thomas, Matt Yonko recorded 8 saves and Collin Deisenroth recorded 1s/1ga in 1 minute between the pipes. For the Eagles, Carter Whittemore recorded 8 saves.
