Waterloo Goalie Mark Campbell Selects OCC

- Mark CampbellAs he starts his senior year at Waterloo, Mark Campbell has recorded 1,372 minutes between the pipes for the Indians. Today he announced that after his graduation this spring he will continue his education and will play lacrosse at Onondaga Community College (Syracuse).

Mark has a 359s/252ga saves record in his two years on the Varsity. In his sophomore year he was named to the second team All Finger Lakes list and last year he was named to the first team as a goalie and was also named a Finger Lakes Player of the Year. Last year he served as a team Captain and was named Waterloo defensive MVP.

He has been busy during the off-season, playing for a number of club teams and attending quite a few other events. In the last year he attended the National Top 175 Invitational, played in the Tribe 7 Varsity Indoor Lacrosse program. He played for the Lionheart Lacrosse Club (Summer and Fall) and the Binghamton Summer Exposure All Star Game. In his sophomore year, among other activities, he received goalie training from Coaches Ryan Demorest and Ric Beardsley.

The OCC Lazers had a perfect 17-0 season last year and won their sixth NJCAA National Championship in a row (total of eight) when they defeated Nassau Community College for the third time in a row. The team is coached by Chuck Wilber (216-15).
