Carter Jordan to Play and Study at Mercer

- CarterJordanSenior Penfield attackman and midfielder Carter Jordan has committed to study and play lacrosse at Mercer University, an NCAA D-I program in Macon, Georgia.

Carter was a second team All County (MC-d1) selection at midfield last year and is a four-year varsity player. He played club lacrosse with Blaze for the past five years and has also played for various FCA teams, Brady’s Bunch, JHawks, Nike Rising and Brine Upstate teams, making the All Star Team at the 2014 Brine Championships.

The Mercer Bears are a relatively new D-I lacrosse program who joined the Atlantic Sun Conference in 2011. Carter considered several other schools at all levels before choosing Mercer University, where he will study Sports Business and Accounting at the Eugene W. Stetson School of Business and Economics.
