Games This Week - Week 7

As this is the last week in the regular season, things are beginning to wind down in Section Five. Last week there were over fifty games, and this week we have forty-three. We will be up very late on Tuesday with sixteen games on which to report and on Thursday when fifteen games are scheduled.

Once again, there are games scheduled on each day between Monday and Saturday, the last day to play games. There are five games on Monday. On "busy Tuesday" Penfield hosts Fairport and Canandaigua travels to Brighton. Other games of interest include Lighting at Hilton, Aquinas at Haverling, B-H at Newark and Whitman at Mynderse. Brockport plays Lockport in the only game on Wednesday.

Thursday brings us Thomas at Brighton and McQuaid at Haverling along with thirteen others. Haverling plays back-to-back when they play the only game on Friday against Mynderse.

All games must be completed by Saturday and a long awaited game between Irondequoit and Fairport will be played at noon. The last game of the regular season will be when Livonia hosts Penn Yan at 2:00.

Once the games have been played and the data entered, the seedings for all three classes will be determined and posted here on Sunday (May 22nd) night.

It should be a great deal of fun to watch the games this week, and while some are very important to seeding points many other are just good match ups.
