Monday: Vacation Week Begins with Three Games

The Fairport Red Raiders outscored Thomas with a score of 4-2 in both the first and second quarters on their way to a 12-9 win at McAvoy Park today. Junior goalie Andrew Clark has 22 saves to help Haverling win a 16-7 victory over visiting Chenango Valley (Section 4).

  --  Junior goalie Andrew Clark, made five straight saves at the start of the game and set the tone for the Haverling Rams, who defeated visiting Chenango Valley (Section 4) 16-7. Clark had nine saves in the first quarter and ended the game with twenty-two.

Senior attackmen Zach Reed (5g-4a) and Kyle Harrison (3g) and senior midfielders Brian Gable (5g-2a) and Nick Rossi (1g-4a) led the offensive books for Haverling (3-1). Junior long stick, Trevor Lang had a hot night scoring one man up goal and picking up eighteen ground balls for the Rams.

We were unable to secure a Chen ego Valley roster, but note that six different players scored in the game.

  --  The Fairport Red Raiders outscored the Thomas Titan with a Fairport vs Thomasscore of 4-2 in both the first and second quarters on their way to a 12-9 win at McAvoy Park today. Thomas came back the third quarter (3-1) behind the efforts of their leading offensive players, sophomore middie Jake Giudice (3g), junior attackman John Zawacki (1g-3a) and junior middie Troy Crevier (2g).

Senior goalie Don Grace played all 48 minutes in the cage for Thomas and recorded seven saves.

Fairport was led by midfielders Brian Martin (5g-1a), Drew Hays (2g-3a) and offensiveman Stephen Danylyshyn (2g-2a). Fairport junior goalie, Blaze Rioden made ten saves for the Red Raiders (7-1)

  --   Updated McQuaid Jesuit traded goals in the first quarter and led 2-1 at the half before beating Carlsbad 7-5 in their first game on their "West Coast Vacation Tour" of California. The Knights led 7-1 before some injuries allowed the Lancers back in the game, scoring four goals in the last ten minutes of the game.

Duncan Ayer and Alex Pochodylo each scored 1g-1a and Clark Hadley added 2g for the Knights (3-3). Starting goalie, Pat Sheridan made 11s (92%) in the first 39 minutes.
