New York State Poll Out - Number 3

State poll number three is out today and the ten Section Five teams made the list sponsored by the New York State Sportswriters Association.

Thomas moves up again, this time from number 7 to the number 6 spot in Class A and Fairport drops from from (#9) to #12. [That should change next week.] Pittsford remains on the honorable mention list, but Penfield dropped off this week.

In Class B, Irondequoit remains at 7th and Canandaigua remains at 15th while Brighton remains on the Honorable Mention list.

In Class C, Penn Yan moves back to #5 from the 6th spot and Aquinas moves up one from #9 to #8. Midlakes remains on Honorable Mention list and is joined by Livonia in Class C, while Geneva drops off the list this week.

The top spots in week three go to West Genesee (Section 3) in Class A, Corning East (Section 4) in Class B and Cold Springs Harbor (Section 8) in Class C.
