Le Moyne Gets Andrew Forte

August 7, 2015 - Rising senior midfielder, Andrew Forte has decided he will attend and play lacrosse at Le Moyne College (Syracuse) after his graduation from Spencerport next spring.

Playing a substantial role for the Rangers since his sophomore year, Andrew will start his senior year with 48g-17a. Last year he added 251 ground balls, many the result of his face off work, where he won 248 (75%).

Off season he has played for the FCA Northeast Elite team , was a Brine All America and was named to the Brine National All-Star Team. He was also a Summer Slam All-Star.

The Le Moyne College Dolphins are an NCAA Division II team playing in the Northeast 10 conference. They lost a close game in the National Championship last year (9-6) to Limestone. Among the current Sectional Five alums on the roster are Justin Kesselring (Fairport), Luke Bartkoski (Victor) and Kacin Welch (Fairport). The Head Coach is Dan Sheehan who will begin his 19th year with the Dolphins.
