- Hilton ended their league season third in Monroe County Division II with a 5-5 record (7-9 overall). Seeded twelfth in the Class A tournament the Cadets lost to Webster Thomas in the first round and finished as hiltonseeded. After the new league divisional orientation, Hilton has moved to Division I this season.

Hilton graduated ten seniors last season with six players receiving All County honors. The loss of Jay Clifford, who led in goals and points last season, will be hard felt.

Offensively, Jimmy Gaffney, who led in assists last season, is returning to the midfield. Gaffney (17g-13a) will also have third leading scorer, sophomore David Smith (26g-5a), and fifth leading scorer, senior Mike Crumlish (19g-9a), joining him in the midfield. Matt Fracassi will be asked to step up in the attack.

Defensively, the Cadets will look to long stick Aaron Hayward take a lead. A significant problem for the Cadets is that both of their goalies graduated last year. Hilton will have to look to junior Ken Stiles to step up between the pipes.

Coach Jared Smith has scheduled additional games with Brockport and second games against Victor, Rush Henrietta and Gates Chili. Coach Smith notes, "This is a very hardworking senior led class who is excited about competing in Division I."
