Training for Officials Starts

February 2, 2009 -  The Genesee Valley Lacrosse Officials Association (GVLOA)is currently recruiting officials for the upcoming spring season. The association is responsible for officiating boys` Section V high school lacrosse. As the sport continues to grow there is a great demand for officials.

"If you ever played or are a lacrosse player why not consider giving something back to the game. If you are a parent who wants to develop a better understanding of the game, the association can help you make a significant contribution to the sport." GVLOA has an excellent training program that will assist new officials with learning the rules, mechanics, judgment and on field communications.

The training schedule is now available (dates below). The five dates start on January 21st and end on March 18th.
