Dylan DeLorme to Move on to Cortland

September 24, 2015 - Fairport senior offensiveman, Dylan DeLorme, has announced his decision to continue playing lacrosse while studying at SUNY Cortland next fall. Earning second team all league honors from the Monroe County (D-1) coaches last year as an attackman, he scored 21g-20a toward his Varsity career totals of 35g-32a.

As a freshman he played on the Nike Upstate team and then in the summer after his sophomore year he played in the Brine National Classic. He then had a nod from Inside Lacrosse at their Upstate Invitational, where he made the all-star team. He has been a member of the Blaze Lacrosse Club since 2011.

At least six Section seven alums are on the Red Dragon roster including former Fairport goalie Joey Scalise along with Jake Sproule (Penfield), Elijah Kenney (Irondequoit), Scott Tota (Schroeder), Gino Prestigiacomo (Athena), Eddie Eddington (Geneva) and Mike Trass (Schroeder). Steve Beville is the Cortland Head Coach and Irondequoit alumnus Greg Wright is an assistant coach.
