Once again this year, SportsFive will publish, each week, rankings in each class. SportsFive will continue to publish the New York State Sportswriters poll and will provide links to the Laxpower national polls.

Vacation week didn't give us much more information for a change in the rankings, although there certainly were a number of exciting games. Fairport lost to Canandaigua, but beat Penn Yan, Pittsford vs Hilton and Schroeder vs Amherst ended in overtime. Games this week will help decide a number of places as Thomas, Schroeder and Rush-Henrietta play to shake out the Class A honorable mentions.

CLASS A
In Class A, it we feel that Canandaigua, Irondequoit, Penfield and Fairport are properly placed at the end of week three but there is no doubt that when we start seeing them play each other, there could be movement. Irondequoit and Fairport play this week and the Eagles play Penfield a week later. Canandaigua's demonstrative win over Corning East makes it easy to keep them in the top spot this week. R-H demonstrated this week they belong on HM with wins over Gates Chili as well as Livonia.

CLASS B
The Class B lists stays the same as week one with Geneva still on the top of the heap and with Aquinas and Victor in pursuit. Geneva beat Aquinas in head-to-head competition (14-5), so although AQ has a 6-2 record, they still hold at number two. Aquinas beat Victor (14-8) so Victor stays in number three. Eastridge has two tough games this week, but has an opportunity to make a statement with some wins.

CLASS C
The Class C rankings also remain the same this week. Penn Yan remains the dominant force even though they lost two and won one in their last three games, they are still the top of the Class. With a two goal loss to Livonia, Waterloo demonstrated the strength that we expected to see preseason, however, as their schedule continues they will need to "keep it up" if they hope to move up in the ranks. After their two goals loss to Livonia, Haverling is looking forward to their game with McQuaid Jesuit.

GAMES THIS WEEK
Now that vacation is over we get back to lots of games including 14 on Tuesday and 13 on Thursday. Canandaigua and Penn Yan play this week, Irondequoit-Fairport, and Schroeder-Thomas should be good games to watch. We will be interested in the Pittsford-Aquinas game and the C-C vs R-H contest and you may want to see Victor and Livonia play.
