Saturday - Adirondack over City 7-5

- Although New York City opened up the scoring with the only two goals of the first quarter, Adirondack came back and outscored NYC 7-3 in the last three. Scott Margolis scored the first goal of the contest (assisted by Anthony Adler). With Only 0:23 left in the first quarter Adler scored one of his own.
  
The second quarter brought about a big change as ADK scored the next three goals. Matthew Crimmins scored the first and third goals, while Steve D’Amario scored the second and assisted on the third. With only 0:22 remaining NYC Julian Musikant scored to bring the score to 3-3.
  
Like the second quarter, ADK came into the third quarter and scored the first three goals. D’Amario scored his second (assisted by John Olsen). Face-off man Ryan Quinn scored on a face-off fast-break only eight second later. The last ADK goal of the third quarter was scored by Sam Bradman (assisted by D’Amario). ADK took a 6-3 lead with 3:04 remaining. New York City tried to mount a comeback and scored the last goal of the third as well as the first goal of the fourth. Max Van Bourgondien (assisted by Edward Cooney) scored with 1:03 left.
  
At 6:42 into the fourth Forest Sonnenfeldt scored for NYC and brought the game to within one goal at 6-5 ADK. This was as close as NYC got, when with 3:54 remaining Matthew Crimmins scored his third goal of the game and Bradman recorded his first assists of the game.
  
Overall, the game was low in penalties and an equal match between to same strength opponents. New York City began this game as they did many other during the tournament with strong opening play that they could not keep up as the quarters progressed and resulted in on overwhelming performances as the quarters went on.
  
Ben Feldberg and Michael Brockway split halves for NYC. Feldberg saw five shots, making 2 saves (40%), while Brockway faced 9 shots with 5 saves (56%). Patrick Sweeney played the entire game between the pipes for Adirondack. Sweeney faced 17 shots and recorded 12 saves (71%).
