Gates Chili found themselves tied with Brockport early in the third quarter and after scoring two in a row, held off a last charge by the Blue Devils to take the 6-5 win.

In other close games Fairport scored the first five goals in their 5-3 win over Schroeder. Penn Yan  was ahead through most of their game with Bath but allowed the Rams to score three goals in the last two minutes of the game as they took the 10-7 victory. With a similar score, McQuaid Jesuit  posted a 10-6 victory over Aquinas in GRALL action. Garrett Ruff (2g-3a) and Andrew Mapstone (2g-2a) led the HF-L offense in their 11-6 win over visiting Spencerport. Taylor Clements (4g-1a) and Ryan Farley (3g-1) led Newark in their 11-7 win over Waterloo. Brighton took the early lead and held on in their 13-10 win at Churchville-Chili. Casey McDermott (3g-3a) and Brady McDermott (2g-2a) led the offense for the Barons. Mynderse  took an early lead and never looked back as they defeated Bloomfield-Honeoye 12-7 with Ian Anderson contributing 2g-3a for the Blue Devils.

Gates Chili scored the first goal of the game and although Brockport forced the tie once, the Spartans never trailed.  Gates Chili scored three goals to lead off the game in the first seven minutes.  Blake Palozzi scored the game opened unassisted.  Kyle Fingar scored the next two (the first assisted by Kyle Krystan).  The Blue Devils responded with Ashton Howlett scoring unassisted to finish the first quarter at 3-1 Gates Chili.
