Canandaigua Takes Penn Yan in OT

- Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: It's been a busy vacation week for the Canandaigua Braves as they followed at Win at Geneva with a win over Penn Yan in overtime tonight.Pal-Mac Pal-Mac traveled to Erie, PA for a 19-9 win against Erie McDowell and McQuaid won in Maryland.

Canandaigua fought back to tie the game at 6-6 with 0:19 remaining in regulation. Mark Belles (3g-2a) scored his second goal of the game off a feed from Alex Burley to force overtime. With five seconds left in the first overtime period, Belles scored his third on a pass from Will York for the game winner. Belles led the offense for the Braves .

McQuaid Jesuit made it a clean sweep on their vacation trip south with an 11-8 win against Worcester Prep (Maryland) after beating Archbishop Curley earlier in the week. Senior midfielder James Merkley led the offensive effort with 3g-2a and Jack Billitier added two more goals as he continues to lead the team (19g-2a). Freshman face off specialist Jack Miller continued his winning ways with 20 of 23 draws, taking his season total to 85 wins (73%). McQuaid Jesuit is now 4-1

Junior midfielder Jake Gallina led the Pal-Mac offense in their 19-9 win over host Erie McDowell (0-2). Sophomore attackman added 3g-5a for Pal-Mac (2-0) and junior goalie Shaun Murphy made nine saves (53%) in the cage.
