Penfield Falls to WG and Bath Wins on the Road

- SATURDAY: DAY IN REVIEW: There was only "one game in town" today, while Bath was on the road at Chenango Valley where they won 12-11. Meanwhile, Penfield hosted West Genesee where they played a good game with the Wildcats but fell 13-10.

West Genesee scored six of the first eight goals in their 13-10 win over Penfield. The Wildcats were led in scoring by Max Rosa with 6g. Although the Patriots kept the game close and forced a tie three times, West Genesee held control through most of the second half. In the fourth quarter, Penfield never got closer than two. Patriot scoring was spread out among nine different players with Jacob Emmick scoring 3g and Dan Taddeo scoring 2g-1a. Bennett Webster won 12 of 21 draws for the Patriots, now 2-1.Story Continues 

Bath and Chenango Valley played a close first half ending it with a 5-5 tie. The Ran took off in the third quarter, scoring five unanswered goals. With the score 11-6 the Valley started scoring again and ended with the last four goals in the game. Senior attackman recorded 2g-4a and Jordon Deats added 3g-2a for the Rams.
