In the second quarter, CSH began their first comeback.  They outscored the Red Rams 4-2 in the second quarter to pull within a single goal at the half.  CSH scored the first goal of the quarter with a dodge from Ian Laviano 0:35 into play.  The Red Rams responded with two more goals.  The first, in man-up was scored with an inside feed from Cook to Mulvihill.  A minute and a half later, JD scored again with Archer feeding Casey Platenik.  The Red Rams led 5-1 halfway through the second quarter.  Cold Spring Harbor scored the final three goals to round out the half and pull within one.  Strough scored the first two with outside shots and Teddy Bentley scored the third.  Bentley’s goal began with a defensive take from Aidan Hunphy.  The ball was quick cleared up the field and Bentley dodged to the crease.  JD led 5-4 after 24 minutes.

JD vs CSHIn the third quarter, both teams added two goals and JD held the one goal lead.  CSH tied the game with a drive from behind by Laviano only 0:38 into the half.  Two minutes later, JD took back the lead with an outside shot by Archer.  The game continued with JD holding the single goal lead for seven minutes before CSH tied the game again.  Will Reed stopped a loose ball as it went to the sideline and came driving back in to the cage.  When the slide came, he crossed to Matt Licciardi to tie the game for the second time.  The Red Rams scored their seventh goal with a dodge from behind by Andrew Barclay and a dump to Archer on the flat.  Jamesville-Dewitt led 7-6 after three quarters.

In the fourth, the Seahawks exploded.  They scored five unanswered goals to take over the game and win their third straight title.  The Red Rams scored the first goal of the quarter with an inside feed from Archer to Fontanta.  Archer finished with 2g-3a for the Red Rams.  CSH’s first two goals were scored by Strough.  The first was a fast-break goal and the second was an outside shot during man-up.  The second, third and fourth goals for the Seahawks were all scored during extra-man.  Licciardi got his second goal of the game off a loose ball on the crease after Bennett Chirco made the initial stop.  Chirco finished with 8 saves for JD.  The next goal was scored during double man-up with Winkoff feeding Jaklitsch on the inside.  Jaklitsch came back with another goal to finish out the Seahawk scoring fourty-one seconds later with a drive from behind.

JD vs CSHJD called a timeout after the goal and attempted to regroup.  Although the Red Rams held CSH scoreless for the remainder of the game, their offense could only get one more goal.  In general, the Cold Spring Harbor defense was stellar.  They played a great four quarters with goalie Chris Porzelt finishing with 11 saves (9 in the first half).  Defensemen Hunter Guarneri and Matt DeGennaro joined Dylan Guarneri in having a great game for the Seahawks.  The Red Rams scored the final goal with 3:52 remaining with Fontana scoring off a feed from Kiesa.  The final four minutes did not see any additional scoring and Cold Spring Harbor was able to hold on for the win.
