Barker Scores Back to Back to Secure Win

- Colby Barker scored back to back goals to end the game and give Pittsford the comeback 10-9 win over Canandaigua.  The Braves scored the opening three goals and led for nearly the entire game.  Barker scored the tying goal with 8:58 remaining, but took their first lead of the game with 0:14 remaining on the clock.  Barker finished the game with 3g-1a.

Canandaigua scored six of their goals in the first quarter to lead 6-2 after twelve minutes.  Devin Andrews scored four of those goals with Mitch Pfeiffer and Carson Greene rounding out the first quarter scoring.  The Braves report, Andrews finishing with 3g-1a.  Pittsford slowing attempted to chip away at the lead for the next two quarters, but every time they got close, Canandaigua scored another goal to keep them at bay.  It wasnt until the second half, when Pittsrford started getting closer.

Canandaigua's Pfeiffer scored the opening goal of the second half with 6:19 remaining.  It was the last goal for the Braves, who were held scoreless for the final 18 minutes.  John Mozrall scored two goals for Pittsford to bring them within a single goal going into the fourth (9-8 Canandaigua).  Both of Barker's goals were unassisted.

In the cage for Pittsford, Gavin Catalano recorded 5 saves.  Defensively, Trevor Hall recorded 2 takes and three ground balls and Ryan Walpole led the Panthers with six ground balls.  For the Braves, Tim Rice finished at 50% with 10 recorded saves.
