-  SPORTSFIVE REPORT:  Brighton took the lead in the second quarter and kept the lead for the rest of the game. The Barons defeated Rush-Henrietta 17-14 to remain undefeated. The early game was back and forth with the score tied at 2-2, 3-3, 4-4, 5-5 and 6-6 before the Barons scored five unanswered goals to secure the lead. Brett Randall (4g-5a) was key in taking control. He scored the 6th, 7th and 8th goals for the Barons to take the largest lead of the game up to that point.

Although the Barons never trailed again, the Royal Comets kept the game close for the entire time. They scored the first goal of the final quarter (Matt Zarzycki unassisted) to bring the game within a single goal (12-11 Brighton).
