Aquinas Over Newark in Class C Semi

- NOTES: Third seeded Aquinas defeated tenth seeded Newark 15-5. The Reds, who were previously the lowest seed currently in the tournament, kept the game close the first half before the Little Irish scored eight unanswered goals in the third and fourth quarters. Newark scored the final goal of the contest. In the cage for Aquinas, Tony Deleo finished with four saves. Defensemen Tyler Olbrich and Jack Owens each finished with nine ground balls to lead the Little Irish. Midfielder Elliot Clemmons and attackman Jonathan Parrinello added five each. The Reds, Conor Tickner finished with 11 saves.

Aquinas, who now becomes the lowest seed left in the tournament, will face top seeded Penn Yan on Wednesday at St. John Fisher.
