Herod Scores for Whitman with 8 Seconds On Clock

Friday: DAY IN REVIEW: In a rainy-muddy game played on Friday afternoon, Marcus Whitman's Ryan Herod scored the game winning goal with 0:08 left on the clock to give the Wildcats an 8-7 win over Wayne. This was only the second time in history that the Wildcats had defeated the Eagles (the last time was 2012). Herod was demonstrative in the game and finished with 2g-3a. For Wayne, Nate Michel was equally as impressive with 3g-2a. The Wildcats increased to 4-0 on the season with Wayne recording their first loss (2-1). Eight different players made the scorebook for Greece tonight as they defeated Brockport 15-6 tonight. Senior attackman Brandon Pignato scored 3g-3a and senior midfielder Logan Yates added 3g-2a for the Storm (2-1). Senior goalie Owen Infantino recorded 8s/4ga (67%) for the Storm who play Churchville-Chili on Monday.
