Mowry Commits to Lenoir Rhyne

 width=Penn Yan offensive player, Ayden Mowry, has announced that he will sign his National Letter of Intent this spring, to study and play at Lenoir Rhyne University after his senior year.

A left-handed starter on the Mustang Varsity as a freshman, he recorded 44 points and then added 49 more in his sophomore year and was all set to start the 2020 season with 56g-38a (93 points) before the season was cancelled. His six points in the Sectional Tournament won him a spot of the All-Tournament teal in his freshman year.

At Lenoir Rhyne he is expected to join former Mustang standout, Dylan Stape. Other Section V alumni currently on the Bears roster include Hunter Savitcheff (Penfield), Mike Coholan (Irondequoit) and Patrick Sullivan (Pittsford). The Head Coach of the Bears is Greg Paradine whose ten-year record is 91-58.
