Two Games then One day Left

DAY IN REVIEW: WEDNESDAY - There were two games played today and one was a close one. Livonia-Avon defeated Wayne by a score of 12-10. There is only one day left in the regular season.

BRIGHTON-13 at CHURCHVILLE-CHILI-7 - The Bruins led 7-3 at the half and finished with the win at a 9-7 record going into Sectionals. Brighton Junior attackman Miles McGuire (1g-2a) reached his 50th career goal and 8th grade attackman Austin Flaum (1g) scored his first Varsity goal while Senior attackman Aksel Stanat (4g-1a), senior attackman Corey Schell (3g-1a), and junior midfielder Gavin Parks (2g-1a) led the scoring. Facing off for Brighton was junior Henry Werzinger with 17+/6- = 74% an in the goal for Brighton, Logan Serve made 4s/2ga = 67% (5 mins). Leading the scoring for Churchville-Chili were senior attackman Colin Duncan (2g-1a), junior midfielder William Morgan (1g-1a), and senior attackman Dominic Hoch.  [ BOX SCORE

LIVONIA-AVON-12 at WAYNE-10 - The game was a close one, but the Lakers scored four goals in the last quarter to get the win.  Junior goalie Colton Rose ( 17s/10ga = 63% - 48 mins) reached his 200th  career save and Freshman face off midfielder Rider VanZandt (7+/6- = 54%) reached his 100th career faceoff win in the game. Max McEnerney (3g-3a), Nikolai Hanna (3g-2a), and A.J. Peri (2g-1a) led the offensive scoring for the Lakers (9-6) who will finish their regular season as host to Spencerport on Thursday. Scoring for Wayne were PJ Ostrowski (3g-1a), Tas Strickland (1g-3a), Mason Michel (3g-1a), Braylon Agnello (2g-1a), and Alex Garrow (1g-1a).      [ BOX SCORE
